What is the operating environment, and what OS are supported?

The following environment is recommended for the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum viewing navi.

  • Windows: Latest version of Google Chrome, latest version of Microsoft Edge, latest version of Mozilla Firefox
  • Mac: Latest version of Safari
Smartphones / Tablets
  • iPhone: iOS 15 or above, Latest version of Safari
  • Android: Android 10 or above, Latest version of Google Chrome

Do I need access to the Internet to use the content?

An Internet connection is needed to enjoy this content.

What languages are supported?

Japanese and English are supported.

Does it cost money to enjoy the content?

No. You can use the content for free.

Can I use the content overseas as well?

Yes. It is possible to use the content even overseas. However, in the case of some content features, the assumption is that they will be used within the museum grounds.

Do I need to register as a member to use the content?

No, you can enjoy the content without registering as a member.

The content will not run.

Please check your Internet connection. In addition, it will take time to display the content if your data is restricted.

Can the language setting be changed?

Yes, it can be changed.

The browser crashes immediately.

Conceivably this is because the device you are using has insufficient memory. Try accessing it again after closing any content you have running.

What should I do if the app is slow to run?

Please try accessing again after closing other tabs and content. Please also confirm that your device is sufficiently charged.

I did not allow location information by mistake. What should I do?

Please take the following steps:

iOS users

  • From “Settings,” select “Privacy”.
  • Choose “Location Services.”
  • Tap “Safari Websites.”
  • Please choose either “Ask Next Time Or When I Share” or “Allow Only While Using this App.”

Android (Google Chrome) users

  • Open the Chrome menu from the “. . .” on the right side of the address bar
  • Select “Settings”
  • Select “Site Settings”
  • Select “Location”
  • Select the URL for the site covered in the category “Blocked”
  • A detailed setting screen will appear, so select “Location access” and select “Allow.”
I did not grant my browser permission to use my camera by mistake. What can I do?

Please take the following steps:

iOS users

  • Select Safari from “Settings”
  • Select “Camera”
  • Select “Allow”

Android (Google Chrome) users

  • Open the Chrome menu from the “. . .” on the right side of the address bar
  • Select “Settings”
  • Select “Site Settings”
  • Select “Camera” or “Microphone” and switch on
